Client: Chanel Korea
Campaign Launch: Campaign Concept
Virtual Space Type: Interior Virtual Space & Abstract Virtual Space
Final Deliverables: Animation & 4K Images
There has been a increasing demand for virtual stores and garments. With the growing legacy of Chanel in South Korea, coupled with COVID restrictions, Chanel looked to bring the 2020 Fashion shows in Paris, Milan and New York to their flagship store in Seoul.
Chanel approached VSLB looking for a way to bring haute couture designs to the store, without physically sending the garments across the globe. Also, the growing craze for metaverse further stresses the brands to open their virtual stores.
For this collaboration we created 2 animations and 10 images across the Abstract Virtual Space and the Studio Virtual Space to showcase our idea.
Our client approached us with a vision of multiple Interior Virtual Spaces that push the boundaries of 3D technology and reality. For a cost-effective campaign, our client filmed plate footage in a studio with a model and desired lighting.
Our team matched the lighting so that the footage could be composited with our renders and animation for a commercial that looks as if the spaces were all physically built.
We built a concept for the color and tones of each space around LG Objet’s three mina color options; nature green, nature beige and nature clay brown.
