Backstory
DFX Agency in Seoul collaborated with us on a complex task – developing an artistic vision to showcase the unique craftsmanship of Genesis Vehicles in a one-minute animation. We had to design each scene in a way that allowed the viewer to imagine how the various materials and colors, inspired by nature, transformed into the entire car lineup. Our objective was to visualize the car designer’s creative process.
The Storyboard
In order to give our client a clear idea of what each scene would look like, we created a storyboard containing sketches and descriptions. This helped us visualize the end result and it’s an important stage in our process.
The Production
To provide our client with smooth previews and timely delivery of each scene, we opted to create the animation using Unreal Engine 5, a real-time rendering engine. Our team of dedicated professionals meticulously crafted each scene by putting in their best efforts in lighting, texturing, and design techniques to ensure the highest quality for the final media output. From Story Boarding, Our Creative Director Giacomo Mason and Co-Creator Fabrizio and their team worked for a few months to complete the project from Scene Development to Spatial Design.
The Final Animation
The final Animation was published on Genesis Worldwide’s Social Media Accounts and European accounts. The final voice-over and text was provided by DFX agency, our close partner who commissioned this project.

Working with DFX Agency and the end client Genesis Worldwide was a great opportunity for us to bring a complex idea to life as a high-quality and creative animation. We were able to streamline our workflow by using new software that allowed us to visualize and build each scene of the media in real-time, making it easier to implement changes and requests at an unprecedented speed. With the use of real-time rendering, the whole process became more efficient and productive, resulting in a successful outcome.
